'Can I Pat That Dog?' A link to Harper Collins, the publishers of Karen's children's book. It is a great resource for parents and teachers that aims to teach children how to behave safely around dogs and thereby hopefully reduce the risk of being bitten.
An Introduction to the World of Animal ... This website is maintained by Phil Arkow and is a great introduction to the theory and practice of animal assisted therapy. Nerys and Karen have both completed the distance learning course in AAT/AAA that Phil runs through Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. It provides a great general introduction to the field and is one of the few courses available totally by distance learning.
